Story Line: Mulaqaat revolves around the life of Qayyum-ud-din aka Gulzar, a poet who is happily married to Saeeda, until his past returns to haunt him. Rameen, a girl he had been madly in love with, and whom he had planned to marry, but who had left him high and dry, returns into his life out of the blue after ten years, and wants to start off where they had left of.
